With the COVID-19 pandemic, many young graduates are rightfully worried about their current career prospects when entering the working world. FirstCom Solutions recently had the opportunity to meet such young minds at the virtual symposium LIT DISCOvery 2020.
Organised by Young NTUC, LIT DISCOvery is a platform for youths to find resources, job placements and connect with industry professionals. This year’s symposium was focused on spreading positivity and resilience amongst youths, as well as keep them up to speed to be ready for life after COVID-19.
Together with other employers, FirstCom shared information to help members of our future workforce broaden their horizons with both local and global perspectives on the current state of the digital marketing industry. We also shared more on FirstCom’s working culture, talent development plans and vacancies available to young PMETs and fresh graduates.

Transforming the SME Landscape in Singapore
The buzzword for all businesses right now is digitisation. FirstCom Solutions is the place to be if you want to make your mark on the SMEs in Singapore. Since being pre-approved for the Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG) in 2018, we’ve been working with government agencies like IMDA to help over 900 SMEs create their own e-commerce websites.
And during the Circuit Breaker measures, we provided Digital Marketing workshops for 200 F&B businesses in April 2020, and set to provide workshops for another 200 Retail businesses in June 2020.
